Без Билета
Без Билета (beZ bileta) is a Belarusian alternative music band. The group was organized by Vitaly Artist in 1998. Having started with Folk songs in Belarusian, by the year 2004 the Minsk band passed on to complicated electronic versions of Indie rock. In 2005 they started towards some simplification of sound. The three periods of creative evolution of beZ bileta are reflected in their albums “Up into the sky” (2001), “Drawn” (2004) and the maxi-single «Amendment 22» (2006).
BeZ bileta were twice given the Belarusian Music Award “The Rock Coranation”: in 2000 as “Discovery of the Year” and in 2001 for “Song of the Year” for their hit “My Motherland Belarus”. The group has got experience of performing on the festival stages of Belarus (“Slavyansky Bazar”), Poland "Basóvišča", “Fiesta Borealis”, Italy (“Spirit of Woodstock”), Germany(“Good-By”).
BeZ bileta is known for the visual presentation of its songs in Belarus and abroad. The band’s music videos are mostly made by music video director Tanya Kushner). The “video storage” of the group contains both animated videos (“Stop Business”, “Went Further”) and art videos (“Drawn”, “What's above”) as well as a narrative video “Two Boats”. The animated music video “Went Further” (directed by Tanya Kushner, animated by Denis Volkov) took part in animation festivals in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Italy, Great Britain and Australia. The music video “A Place for You” came off in spring 2006. The video is made up from the photos of the group members, their friends and common people who can’t remain indifferent to beZ bileta.
The band’s leader Vitaly Artist is known as the author of the soundtrack for the 2006 Russian film, “Hunting the Piranha”. Vitaly also composes music for soap-operas (“Men don’t cry”), a romantic thriller "A Joke" (2007), theatrical performance (“Thereaflter” staged by the Minsk Theatre “Inzhest”), teleprojects (the new season of the popular TV programme series “Sasha and Sirozha”), cartoons and promos. In autumn 2006 Artist finished working on the sound-track for the Russian soap opera “Supermarket” coming out at the beginning of 2007.
Deadhead’s Day
