Jung Eun-ji (정은지; born Jung Hye-rim, on August 18, 1993 in Haeundae, Busan, South Korea) is a South Korean idol singer, actress and songwriter. She is best known as the main vocalist of the South Korean girl group Apink. She has two number 1 singles to her name - the remakes "All for You" and "우리 사랑 이대로", both of which were duets with co-star Seo In Guk (서인국) for the soundtrack of their high-rated drama series on tvN, "Reply 1997 (응답하라 1997)". She also collaborated with labelmate 양요섭 (Yang Yo Seob of B2ST) for the single, "Love Day", for White Day. Despite little promotion, the single peaked at #16 on GaOn's Weekly and Monthly (March) charts.
Before her debut, A Cube Ent. uploaded her rendition of Jennifer Hudson's "Love You I Do". She has also covered "A Goose's Dream" and Kim Ah Joong's "Star", among others.
Eun Ji is noted for her unchanging Busan accent despite being professionally based in Seoul and also as an aspiring songwriter as shown in her efforts on the second season of "A Pink News" where she was seen writing a song, "Pinky Finger". It has yet to see a formal studio release. She also wrote "이별하다" ("Separation") before her debut. She also plays the piano. Eun Ji has a younger brother, Min Ki (b. 2004), who has been a guest on "A Pink News" several times. She was a regular cast member of MBC's Explorations of Genders.
Eunji made her debut as an actress in tvN's "Respond 1997" in 2012 which garnered critical acclaim for its script, acting and music.
