[The] Slowest Runner [in all the world] is an instrumental post-baroque band housed in Brooklyn, New York that combines strings and piano with a traditional rock setup and experimental sound manipulation techniques for a uniquely-embellished sound.
They recorded five songs live in a living room in Somerville, MA in May 2009 that became '[album artist=[The] Slowest Runner [in all the world]]The Flophouse Sessions'. The band released their debut full-length album '[album artist=[The] Slowest Runner [in all the world]]We, Burning Giraffes' in June 2010. Both releases are available for free download at their bandcamp.
