大橋トリオ
大橋トリオ(OhashiTrio)[Real name: 大橋好規(Ohashi Yoshinori)] is a solo Japanese songwriter, singer and piano player from Chiba, Japanwho was born on July 12th 1978 and started his career in 2003.
He plays piano, guitar, bass, drums, mandolin, shamisen, harp and more. With influences stretching across a range of musical areas from his childhood and studies in jazz, OhashiTrio is a unique blend of Japanese jazz, soul, folk, rock, and bosanova. The music is a laid-back blend of acoustic pop and jazz with an occasional touch of funk, creating a mellow early-70s sonic vibe accompanied by a Victorian visual aesthetic (courtesy of his ever present top hat and jacket). His songs feature Japanese as well as English lyrics, the singles and their accompanying videos, however, usually feature the Japanese songs.
OhashiTrio’s first album, Pretaporter, was released in 2007, followed by This Is Music in 2008. His music also featured in the film “Colours”, directed by Kakimoto Kensaku in 2006.
From 2006 until 2008 he was signed at Patch Works Label, since 2009 he has been signed at rhythm zone.
