A trio/quartet dedicated to Yamamoto Seiichi (山本精一)'s quieter, more lyrical side. (Quite literally, in fact: he often sings during Rashinban performances.) The band's name translates as "compass", and it shows in both their gentle, exploratory jams and the outdoorsy photography, often provided by former drummer Mana "China" Nishiura, that appears on most of their early CD-R releases.
