那英
Na Ying (那英), born November 27, 1967 in Shenyang, China, is a popular Chinese female vocalist. Considered to be a major influence on the modern Chinese music industry, she has sold more than 10 million albums since her debut album in 1994.
An ethnic Manchu of the Yehe Nara clan, Na won several national singing contests in the 1980s, and in 1988 began her recording career in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Na has had constant popularity since she began her career, having a prominent role in the closing ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games and other major national events. Read more on Last.fm.
