There are three artists with this name:
(1) The man known as "26" (formerly Doc Corbin Dart) released his album The Messiah in 2004.
Doc Corbin Dart was lead singer, founder, and lyricist of the infamous eighties punk rock act The Crucifucks. The band formed in 1981 and signed to Alternative Tentacles, releasing two albums now compiled on the Our Will Be Done CD.
Doc went on to record two solo albums, Patricia (1990, Alternative Tentacles, LP/CS only) and the cassette-only, self-released Black Tuesday in 1991. In 1996 a third Crucifucks album, L.D. Eye, was released by Alternative Tentacles records.
He continues to be a notorious figure in Lansing, Michigan, regularly showing up in local papers.
(2) "26" is also the name of an Australian musical outfit founded in 2004 in Brisbane, Australia, by friends Nick O'Donnell (lead vocals/guitar) and Drew Fellows (keyboardist/vocals), who later recruited Ross Duckworth (bass/vocals) and Iain Wilson (drums/vocals).
The band’s first album The King Must Die was released in Australia through Floodboy Records in 2005. A second album, Births, Deaths & Marriages was released in 2008.
