Abduktio
Abduktio was a hardcore punk band from Ylöjärvi, Finland. During its thirteen years of existence (1998–2011), the band, occasionally cited as "Refused of Ylöjärvi," gained underground recognition with their raw, yet modern brand of hardcore and fierce lyrics addressing nationalism, ecology, consumerism, depression and a vast variety of other topics, commonly topped with experimentation and occasional metallic edge. The band played nearly 300 concerts in Finland and eastern Europe.
Abduktio disbanded after the death of the guitarist Jukka ”Zuge” Laajakallio in late 2011. The band played its final concert dubbed "in Memory of Zuge" in April 7th, 2012 at Klubi, Tampere.
