Abstracode
Project "Abstracode" was founded in the beginning of the June 2007 by the russian techno-minimalist Microfluid, well-known composer whose works can be found on such labels as Pozitron Records, I/O Netlabel, Random Access Recordings and Taktalsmittel.
At first, Abstracode was considered to be the ambient or chillout project, based on quiet beats and relaxing melody, but soon after this decision Microfluid meets another interesting person - Braincrasher, who is influenced by Massive Attack and Portishead, composing tracks in different styles, such as drum and bass and downbeat. They decided to collaborate and then they made the first track of this project (called "Lifecode"). With their music they want to show the deep and melancholic mood, mixing ambient with downtempo and trip-hop.
