Acacia
There are at least five acts called Acacia:
1. Acacia is an atmospheric doom/black metal band from Halmstad, Sweden. From 2007-2012 they were known as Livsnekad and released two EPs (one being a re-recording of the first) and a full-length entitled "Den sociala vanförheten" in 2009(see for free/name your price download http://livsnekad.bandcamp.com/). In 2012, they decided to change their name to Acacia and the first Acacia full-length "Tills döden skiljer oss åt" was released a year later. They are currently signed to Art of Propaganda.

2. since 1990 ACACIA Not only represents a notable Detroit Artist, Band, Clothing, collectibles items, & cross multimedia, but most importantly reflects upon one of the most remarkable electronic music record labels in Detroit history to date. Founder, creator and owner Kelli Hand, aka K-Hand, is the very first woman to produce and create her (the) addictive techno sound in the late 1980’s/early 1990’s, as well as build her imprint, Acacia Records, in the city of Detroit during the early days of the primitive Techno sounds, stablizing into the new, Kelli’s profound and highly regarded music continues to be heard throughout the world. Two decades later, we still hear and admire Hand’s innovative religiously raw contributions to this highly respected and sought after sound with the deep thumping bass of "Ready for the Darkness", "Global Warning" original, and storming releases from the infamous Wamdue "Higher", and "Deep Dreams" titles, (to name a few), on electronic dance floors around the globe. Her productions, as well as her intricately designed yet beautifully banging Djing sets are evermore admirable, and continue to enhance the reputation of this fine lady, who maintains her throne as one of the world’s first and finest female techno, electronic dance music artists today.
3. An UK band that were sadly overlooked in the late 90s. Lead singer Alexander's voice is soothing and mellow. Guy Sigsworth (who went on to be in Frou Frou and produce Madonna, Björk, Seal, Mandalay and Britney Spears) was also a key member of the band, and Cradle showcased the sounds that would end up being developed years later on Frou Frou's 'Details' album. Cradle also featured Imogen Heap (UK singer/songwriter and member of Frou Frou) singing backing vocals.
4. A Japanese hardcore band.
5. Acacia came out of Ontario, Canada and unleashed this EP called "Untune The Sky", which I have always felt is one of the most criminally underrated releases in the early canon of Goodfellow Records. They had a chaotic sound akin to early Botch, but with more prevalent metal undertones.
