The band appeared in the beginning of 2006 and consisted of 3 friends, who had been grown up on the same street and had gone to the same school in a town Reutov, situated near Moscow. Lads played experimental music: a mixture of grunge/postpunk and garage. While having given occasional concerts in almost DIY conditions and having perceived itself, the band had been making first steps, gaining experience, changing its musical preferences and, in the same time, its sounding.
With such a membership, the band recorded an album "The streets" (which finally wasn't issued), which touched upon the problems of suburbian ghetto and risky streets of lads' native town.
The end of this period of the band's existing was marked by meeting on one of the Agitators' rehearsals Aleksey Red, who happened to go there by chance, having left his previous band because of the issues in the views on punk music and punk culture and in the band's materials. They got acquainted and found a lot of common, having played some cavers of their favorite bands (Rancid has been remaining one of them since nowadays), so they decided to work together. That day of August 2007 can be called the very beginning of the new original membership of the Agitators band, which remains now and hopefully will be remaining for a long time. Having had the new membership, the band changed the style to melodious streetpunk/hardcore/new school punkrock and started performing actively not only in Moscow, but in the other cities, keeping the traditional principles of punk music and trying not only to improve its popularity but to help to develop the local centers of punk stage, performing and getting acquainted with people from such cities and towns as Saint-Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Cherepovets, Vologda, Serpuhov, Tula, Ryazan, Minsk, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg, Ufa. As for nowadays, the band has recorded the second numbered album - "I*ll not forget this times". In its lyrics the band touches upon the themes of ecology/wars/wage slavery/taking heavy drugs/unjustified violence and anger of people in the streets/political unfairness and difficult lives of common people in police states. We also sing about brotherhood and equality of all the people, friendship and love, which continues through the whole our life and that a man must do things by heart, remember the past and happily enter the future and everything will be fine, that's what we wish you!
