Airplanes
Two groups have gone by the name "Airplanes" within the last decade.
Most recently, a project between guitarist Justin Hamilton of Los Angeles, CA and vocalist David Reed of Waco, TX pulled together members Brian Haack (Guitar), Eddy Colloton (Bass), and Phil Garofalo (Drums) to complete the Airplanes debut album "Then Sings My Soul", which was released on iTunes on January 18, 2010. The band describes their own influences as "Paul Simon, The Band, M. Ward, Bill Withers and Kings of Leon." They are currently working on a new, highly-anticipated EP.
Airplanes was also an Indie Rock band of the Antelope Valley until July 2006, composed chiefly of singer/songwriter Mark Morrison and Jeff Jensen. The final lineup consisted of Mark Morrison on the mic and guitar, Noah Snodgrass on guitar, Jennifer Snodgrass on bass guitar, Jeff Jensen on keys and Devin Ratliff on drums. It is unknown whether this band is still active. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
