Artemisia
There are multiple artists with this name:
1) Artemisia was a gothic doom metal band from Arco, Trentino, Italy, active between 1998-2001. Formerly known as Moonrise.
2) It is an alias of Dutch house producer Patrick Prins, under which he recorded the 1990s dance anthem, Bits ānā Pieces (1994).
3) Artemisia is a project of Steve Gordon, who is well known for his work producing and mixing the Billboard charting Buddha Lounge series with is brother David Gordon (The Gordon Brothers). Most Artemisia tracks feature notable female vocalists such as Irina Mikalova (Medicine Drum) and Susanne Sterling. The style has some similarities with Electronica such as Enigma, Amythestium and Achillea, but Artemisia goes beyond these influences and has crafted a unique style of it's own with it's lovely Spanish guitar, electric guitar and sensuous atmospheres. You can find Artemisia tracks on the Buddha Lounge, Hotel Tara and Celtic Lounge series. The first full length Artemisia release is expected soon.
