Ascii.Disko
Ascii.Disko is an electronic music project by Daniel Holc from Hamburg, Germany. Currently he lives in Madrid, Spain. He released his music on the German indie label L'Age d'Or (Lado).
Before DJing and producing music he was guitar player in the band Slown. After a while he got bored of making rock music and started to be more into electronic music. Later he was co-host at John Peels show on BBC Radio 1. His music earned positve reaction in the USA as well, e.g. Felix da Housecat thinks the album is "amazing" and Tommie Sunshine stated Ascii.Disko as "the future of music".
In the next year Daniel Holc moved to Madrid where he works on new music. 2006 his second album Alias was released and he also made remixes (such as I Go Hard, I Go Home by The Presets).
