Ash Reiter
From the Bay Area of San Francisco, CA, Ash Reiter (pronounced like "right-er") describes her vocals as "honey and whiskey"--an apt description by most accounts. Popdose.com calls them "lightly electrified folk with an added oomph." She has been compared to Jolie Holland, among other female folk artists, but with a certain excitable dance quality you don't find as often in indie-folk.
