AUTOPARK was formed in Belgrade, back in 2000, by Milan Jovanovic (Headstream), Nenad Jevtic (Ljubavnici) and Ognjenka Lakicevic (Tornado ptice). Autopark’s music can be described as a blend of guitar noise and pop melodies, poisoned by influences from American and British bands of the late 80s and early 90s. However, members of Autopark believe that music mostly depends on one’s inner condition, and deem limits in music and any kind of genre definitions to be rather boring.
Their first album, “10+1″, was released online in 2005. In December 2006, their sophomore album “Take-away feelings” (“Osecanja za poneti”) was released by Multimedia Records.
Their third album, “Further and further” (“Sve dalje”), is a meditation on growing up, and reflects the band’s newfound – thanks to album co-producer Sasa Jankovic – appreciation for the creative boost that comes from being in-studio. “Further and Further” was self-released at the begining of December 2009.
After a few changes in the lineup, today Autopark is: Ognjenka Lakicevic (vocals), Nikola Bercek (guitar), Dusan Lopusina (guitar), Milan Bogdanovic (bass), Dejan Utvar (bass) and Aleksandar Sivacki (synth).
