BBC
There are two entities named BBC - - a television and radio network and a band.
1) The British Broadcasting Corporation (or the BBC) is a television and radio network that launched in 1922. It is the largest broadcasting organisation in the world.
Its main responsibility is to provide public service broadcasting in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. The BBC is an autonomous public service broadcaster that operates under a Royal Charter. Within the United Kingdom its work is funded principally by an annual television licence fee, which is charged to all United Kingdom households, companies and organisations using any type of equipment to record and/or receive live television broadcasts.
2) BBC the band is a South African band that plays in a style called Shangaan, a hyper dance music with high BPM counts. BBC has two songs on the 2010 Honest Jon's comp Shangaan Electro: New Wave Dance Music from South Africa. Those songs feature seemingly cheap electronic keyboards and drums that flow at a manic pace with a more traditional African singing layered over top with both male and female singers/chanters.
