Bajo Tierra
There are at least two bands called Bajo Tierra:
1.- A Colombian Rock band. and
2.- A Venezuelan Grunge-Rock band.
1.-
"Bajotierra" is a colombian rock band formed by Jaime Andrés Pulgarín, Lucas Guingue, and Alejandro Duque, from Medellin, in 1989. In the earlies days the band played in the Clubs and many places on the city, and as the band played in one underground level on the city they called the band "Bajo Tierra" in English is Underground. Their first album is the year 1990 whit Nicolas Naranjo(Singer), Alejandro Posada (Bass), Cesar Cura(drums), Daniel Betancourt(Keyboards) y Paula Vélez (Sax). the band recorded two albums Bajo Tierra (1994) and Lavandería real (1997), with Codiscos Records. But untill 2006 the band sound again with their new album, "Los Dias Adelante".

Bajo Tierra starts in the city of Valencia (Venezuela), in the late 90s. The band has been working professionally since 2000, playing all over the country. In 2006, Bajo Tierra released its first LP titled "Part 1/n", a 10 tracks-album which include song like "Expecting" and "Deserve", which was well accepted by critics and people in general, winning come loyal fans and becoming one of the best grunge-band from Venezuela.
For the current year 2010, Bajo Tierra prepares for the launch of a new single "Hate Me", and also the record of a second LP titled "Bajo Tierra"; planning to start with it an extensive tour, that will take the band once more across the National Territory and several Latin American countries.
