Belgradeyard Sound System
Belgradeyard Sound System are Jazz / Indie / Electronica musicians from Belgrade, Serbia.
Belgradeyard Sound System collective was started in 1999 by Goran Simonoski and Relja Bobic by setting up a live music radio show on the airwaves of the now famous and commercial Radio B-92. This show is still the basis of all their activities, which developed as time went by, and today they are active as radio presenters, DJs, musicians, promoters and festival organizers. BGYSS took part at numerous festivals around Europe and in the US between 2002 and 2004, and in between these experiences they set up their own festival Dis-patch in October 2002. After the success of the first edition, the festival continued as an annual event each October, and four editions have been held so far. More than 70 concerts were promoted as part of the festival in the first four years. Check dis-patch site.
BGYSS are also, as music producers, signed to the Cosmic.Sounds label from London (www.cosmicsounds-london.com) with the debut full-length album to be released sometime in 2006.
