Beta Evers
Beta Evers grew up with early New German Wave (1979-82) and the darker side of European New Wave. In her teenage years she founded a freaky girl-combo and started her own record label, at the early age of 16, just to independently release and distribute the music of her combo. After some turbulent years in the underground music business, she took a break from her activism for a while (1990-1995), but remained an obsessed music-lover and passionate record-collector. Beginning in the 90s she got totally into electronic music and started to arrange parties for underground clubs in her area. In the year 2000, she founded the local electro network Kommando 6. In 2001 Beta Evers decided, to make Kommando 6 also a record label. Finally, in the same year, she started to compose and produce her own tracks. In the field of electro, wave and bodymusic, she belongs herewith to the very limited number of women, who are not only singing, but who produce their music entirely on their own. Besides her solo-project Beta Evers collaborates in a side-project with Dystronic called Black Spider Clan. In 2006 she closes Kommando 6 after 20 releases and announces a new exclusive project...
