Bikram Singh
There are two artists called Bikram Singh.
1. Bikram Singh is a U.S.-based Punjabi bhangra singer.
At the age of twelve, Singh moved with his family from Punjab to Queens, New York. He started singing, influenced by the Punjabi superstars on whose music he had been brought up: Kuldip Manak, Surinder Shinda, and Yamla Jatt. By 2001 he had produced his own tracks, which he debuted at an Open Mic Night in Greenwich Village. His success grew, and soon he began experimenting, combining Punjabi popular music and Asian Underground electronica; he teamed up with New York's DJ Navdeep to record the underground hit "Aa Gayee". Singh has since toured all over the world, and his recordings have gained great popularity on both sides of the Atlantic and beyond.
2. Bikram Singh is one of the most promising Rabindra Sangeet singers from Vishwa Bharati, Shanti Niketan, India. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
