Blood Groove & Kikis
Blood Groove & Kikis are a Progressive House DJ & producer duo consisting of Edmunds Kasperovics and Kristaps Kārklins from Aizkraukle, Latvia - but now residing in Riga, Latvia.
Hailing from a small town in Latvia, Blood Groove & Kikis consists of Edmunds Kasperovičs and Kristaps Kārkliņš, who initially met on a party in which they both performed. They quickly discovered that they not only shared a similar taste in music, but also common career aspirations. Soon thereafter, they formed the duo that we now know as Blood Groove & Kikis.
Their collaborative work as DJ's started back in fall 2006, and since that date, they have always performed together, typically playing back-to-back sets. Since 2009, they have also been producing their own original tracks and remixes - in their own words, these tracks are inspired by emotions, personal experience and di - in their own words, these tracks are inspired by emotions, personal experience and different events from all around the world.
Today, you can hear their tracks on many acclaimed international radio shows, including Armin van Buuren's "A State Of Trance", Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy", Max Graham's "Cycles", Matt Darey's "Nocturnal", Andy Moor's "Moor Music", Jaytech's "Jaytech Music", Solarstone's "Solaris International" and many other worldwide known djs.
In the end of March the debut artist album by Blood Groove & Kikis called "Wonderland" has finally seen the light. LP was supported by the heavyweights of progressive house and trance scene, including Above & Beyond, who premiered it in "Group Therapy" radio show, Max Graham, Kyau & Albert, Ruben De Ronde, Steve Brian, Pedro Del Mar. Limited CD edition (100 units) has been sold out in less than a month, total digital sales of the first month have shown 3000+ sold units.
One of the world's most famous magazines PEOPLE has picked Blood Groove & Kikis' remix on Claes Rosen's "Starlight" from the release on Spring Tube label as 'Some Hot Songs You May Have Missed in 2013'.
