BROKEN HAZE(Keisuke Ito) is an acclaimed producer / DJ from Tokyo (Japan) whose style draws from dubstep, hip hop, bass music, etc. neo-futuristic synth melodies and strong beats are the staple of his genre hopping style.

Broken Haze first created buzz after releasing his first album [Raid System] featuring artists like Machinedrum and Richard Devine. Captivating listeners attention with his eclectic melodies and glitched beats. The next step was a VS EP 12" with Japanese underground hero Olive Oil released on Broken Haze's own Raid System label, which reached #2 on iTunes Electronic Charts.
In 2010, the track called "block" is featured on the compilation called Oscillations which is presented by Juslikemusic & apple juice break blog, and this nasty synth track with dubstep beats made him as a world famous producer in underground scene.
And in 2011 he followed it up with another split EP alongside 2010 Red Bull Music Academy graduate B. Bravo creating noise both in Japan and around the world.
In 2012, he released ep 'Lightning Flash EP' from Top Billin. 'Air Castles' was featured on XLR8R and LuckyMe x Rinse.fm, and 'Battle of Empires' was played on hyperdub X Rinse.fm show. This ep made him
Broken Haze live/DJ sets consists of a Laptop, Midi Controller and/or iPad setup. His live shows energetic and aggressive to say the least. To this day he has shared the stage with world renowned heavy weights like Kode9, Scratcha DVA, Hudson Mohawke, Rustie, ,Dorian Concept (Ninja Tune), Machinedrum (Lucky Me), ediT (The Glitch Mob), DJ Rafik (DMC World Champion), Pearson Sound, Girl Unit(night slugs) Fulgeance and many more, firmly establishing himself as a world class electronic artist in Tokyo.
Broken Haze has done remixes for artists like RQM, Crookers, Aucan, XLII, as well as J-pop superstars. He was also commissioned to do an official cover version for a Disney electronic compilation, showing off his production skills in various scenes and genres.
After the March 11 earthquake he also worked alongside Raid System label mate (XLII) , journalists to create the biggest charity compilation in 2011: Nihon Kizuna. In only 5 days they managed to gather over 50 tracks from people like Kode 9, Kuedo, Rudi Zygadlo, Om Unit, Mux Mool, Ernest Gonzales, Jay Scarlett, Onra, Slugabed, Nightwave and The Quemists just to name a few. The speed and scale of the compilation inspired electronic music fans worldwide to spread the word and help with relief efforts in Tsunami / Earthquake struck North Eastern Japan. All proceeds from the sale went to Japan red cross.
On top of all that Broken Haze also hosts a regular podcast called RIRS on London's Rhythm Incursions site and Berlin's BLN.fm FM/Internet radio. And in Tokyo he's got a regular show on Block.fm.
