Bud Spencer & Terence Hill
Bud Spencer (born October 31, 1929) and Terence Hill (born Mario Girotti March 29, 1939) are a well known Italian duo which recorded tens of successful films together. They are successful all over Europe and in the USA. Their most famous film is most likely the 1971 western “They Call Me Trinity” (Lo chiamavano Trinità), as well as the continuation in 1972 – “All the Way Trinity” (Continuavano a chiamarlo Trinità). The duo gained great popularity particularly in Europe. Their popularity is affirmed by the fact that a whole series of films, “The Diamond Peddlers”, was created, where both impersonators of the main characters founded their careers on mimicking Spencer and Hill. Bud Spencer also played in films without Terence Hill and their popularity decreased a bit (for example, “E.T. and the Sheriff”). Hill was significantly more successful as a solo actor.
