Cécile Bredie
Cécile Bredie was born on April 13 1969 in the Netherlands. She grew up in a very musical minded family. After her university degree in Law she worked at a record company as a lawyer. Because she wanted to explore the world Cécile decided to travel and lived in several countries from Mali ( West-Africa) to Curacao in the Carribians, Biarritz in the South of France and in Germany. Cécile speaks and sings in 4 languages fluently. During her traveling all over the world Cécile performed live on stage, and worked as a studio singer. Right now Cécile writes the music and lyrics for her own Lounge and Chillout songs. In 2009 her songs were released on the famous and wellknown labels of: Café del Mar (Vol.16), Diamonds ‘nd Pearls (Vol.3), Buddha Lounge. In the winter 2008 Cécile worked on the arrangements of the song The Autumn Leaves/Les feuilles Mortes and this song went number 1 (I-tunes) in a lot of countries all over the world. In the fall of 2009 her songs “Dreamland” and “Circles” were released world wide. Even one of her tracks have been used in 2009 for a documentary of the BBC. Céciles love for the natural environement and her addiction for travel are giving her the creative spirit for writing new songs and mixing native instruments with modern lounge and chillout styles. Céciles public is fascinated by her voice and her music.
