New style southern rock, NOT country with a little distortion in the guitars. Great southern feel, strong vocals with solid backing instruments. Aiming at a truer southern sound than today's country music, with a real southern rock medium with influences from blues, modern rock, country, gospel, and many more.
CashboX was formed in 2006 by drummer Michael Murphy and Bass player Jeremy Payne. After jamming together for a couple of months, they sought out a singer, and found Andrew Brannon. In 2007 they added guitar player Tyler Chambers, and CashboX was almost complete.
With roots in gospel, country, rock, southern rock, blues, and several other types of music, CashboX consistently refines their music to reflect their unique sound. In 2009, CashboX was invited to record the theme song for Duckmen 13: Fear the Beard, Duckmen 14: Weather the Storm, and Buckmen 3: The Bigs, as well as making appearances on the Buck Commander reality show on the Oudoor Channel.
CashboX continues to work closely with the Duck Commanders and Buck Commanders on new theme songs and special shows. CashboX has been featured on the cover of magazines nationwide and their debut album, "Iron Mountain Train", has seen growing success. CashboX plays shows all over Arkansas and surrounding states, and continues to branch out. In 2011, CashboX caught the eye of music legend Sam Coplin, who has recently started booking shows for the band.
