Celestine
There are four artists who have used the name Celestine
1) Icelandic sludge, metalcore band.
The band's first EP, called At the borders of Arcadia, was described in this way by Icelandic magazine The Grapevine: "From the opening song, Despair And, Celestine evokes a chilling grind built on heavy guitar sound, guttural vocals from one of the most promising throats in the business, and a gradual devolution of structure that parlays the required despair."
The band's second album, This Home Will Be Our Grave, was recently released in Iceland and two members of Celestine co-founded a record label in Iceland in 2008 called Molestin Records along with members from Icelandic death metal band Momentum.

2) Brisbane acoustic pop duo consisting of Lei-Lani Horner (guitar and vocals) and Gerry Nuske (guitar). This act recorded an unreleased EP featuring three tracks "Amends", "Forgiven" and "A Slow Death" in early 2002. They broke up in 2003.
3) Christian rock artist Celestine hails from Chicago with her own brand of prog/folk yet original music. Celestines first CD "Show me the Way" was released in 2004 with Michael Barry at the keyboards . The latest CD "Transparent" was released in 2009 with Michael and is currently touring .
