Chanée & N'evergreen
Chanée & N'evergreen is a duet of Danish artists Christina Chanée and Tomas N'evergreen.
Together, they took part in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (Danish National Final for Eurovision Song Contest) in 2010 with their song "In A Moment Like This" (this song is a former candidate in Melodifestivalen) written by Thomas G:son, Henrik Sethsson and Erik Bernholm. They went on to win the contest and represented Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, Norway, where the song was among the bookmakers' - as well as the ESC-fans' favourites - to win the Eurovision Song Contest. They qualified for the final and came in fourth in the final.
Christina Chanée had already won several talent competitions at the age of 17. Even though she has also sung jazz, pop music has always been the pivotal point in her musical life. In 2003 she won the soundtrack competition for the Danish movie Anja Efter Viktor.
The year after she became a singer in the band Nubian Fräuleins in the entertainment program on Danish TV, Endelig Fredag. During that time, she met Kid Creole, who later offered her the leading role in the production of Martin Gaye – The Musical. Later she joined Kid Creole and the Coconuts with whom she has since toured.
Thomas N'evergreen - real name Thomas Christiansen - formed his first band when he was in the sixth grade and saw his first success with the song Every Time I See Your Smile which was high on the playlist of MTV Russia. It was also played on the radio channel Europa Plus with 80 million listeners, and in the Ukraine the single topped the charts.
