Failsafe and the band had intended to release all the bands studio material but were thwarted at the last minute by the new owners of the legendary flying nun records who refused to hand over the bands master tapes.
In April 2005 the band reformed for a series of shows to celebrate the release of the album and pay tribute to original bassist Johnny Pierce who had committed suicide in 1986.
A series of new recordings were made at the time but remain unfinished.
