Children of the Bong
Daniel Goganian and Rob Henry formed Children of the Bong as a British ambient-dub combo, including acoustic guitar and DJ Marin's turntable technology in their live shows. They later decided to go completely electronic, recording several tracks for compilations (Feed Your Head, Vol. 2, Quadraped Vol. 1) and -- after Planet Dog signed the group -- their 1995 debut album.
They signed to Planet Dog Records in 1994 and released one album, Sirius Sounds, as well as a couple of tracks on Planet Dog compilations. The band recorded a Peel Session for DJ John Peel on BBC Radio 1 on 26 April 1994
The group split up shortly after the release of the album. Rob Henry went on to form a band called Euphonic and now plays in a band called Neech. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
