Christine Hoberg
Christine Hoberg is an American singer, songwriter, and producer based out of Brooklyn, NY and raised in Superior, WI. She is most well known for her vocals and writing on the song, 'Clair de Lune' written by herself (vocals, lyrics, and melody) and Australian producer duo Flight Facilities. 'Clair de Lune' was released by Glassnote Records and has gone Platinum in Australia and was voted number 17 on the Triple J Hottest 100 year-end charts.
Musical career
Hoberg has composed and written music since a child and started recording music by bouncing sounds between a karaoke machine with cassette tapes. Later she self-recorded and worked late nights at friend's studios to record four EP/LPs produced by herself (Nice, Ugly, Moonlight Never Shined So Bright, and World Within). Her most recent, 'World Within' is an ethereal acapella album which premiered with Spin Magazine and Nic Harcourt's Guitar Center radio program. In 2011, Hoberg was one of five finalists chosen by Spin Magazine in a national contest with the opportunity to play their SXSW stage.
Other written collaborations, 'You Can't See Me' (Downtown Records) with Milwaukee-based Kiings and 'Hear Me' (Neon Records) with Ivan Gough and Feenixpawl have been supported by indie and mainstream music blogs, with the latter premiering with BBC Radio 1 and Pete Tong.
