Clarice Falcão
Clarice Falcão (Born in Recife, Brazil on October 23, 1989) is a Brazilian actress, singer, and scriptwriter. Daughter of filmmaker João Falcão and scriptwriter and writer Adriana Falcão, her music can be described as experimental with a blend of folk sentiments.
A graduate of PUC-Rio (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro), she both directed and acted in various short films. "Laços", her biggest feature short, was written by her mother and won first place in Google's worldwide short film contest, Project Direct. It was promoted on YouTube and beat out various foreign films as well as screened at the Sundance Film Festival. It also received acclaim in several magazines and journals throughout Brazil.
