Colorfactory
Colorfactory came into existence in 1990 in Laguna Beach, California. The band's original line-up was Tim Rudek (bass), Mike Freeman (guitar), Paul Scott (drums), Jeff Baylist (guitar) and Colin Stuart (production). But the quintet ended musical activity in 1991. Colin Stuart moved to Prague in 1992 and produced there some Czech bands - Ecstasy of St. Theresa, Naked Souls, Toyen and Sebastians. In 1993 people from bands like Sebastians, Toyen and Ecstasy of St. Theresa recorded new versions of songs with same name of the band - Colorfactory. Director David Ondricek heard the songs and used them in his film Whisper (Tiger Award nominee at the Rotterdam Int'l Film Fest '97). Some Colin Stuart's remixes of David Byrne's songs appeared on The Visible Man album (1998), but unfortunately he is not credited on the sleeve. Colin also plays bass in the group Aftermath DB.
