Creme 21
Creme 21 was a German pop band, founded in Frankfurt am Main in 1994.
Founder members were Michael Scheuber and Udo Selber, completed was Creme 21 with Christoph Schirmer and Soosoo Sunbeam.
Their debut album was released in 1996 and contained some single hits like a coverversion of "Wann wird's mal wieder richtig Sommer", originally sung by comedian Rudi Carell, but also original compositions like "Ich mag Tiere" or "Traumfrau". The follow-up was released in 1998 and was called "Zu Gast bei der BBC", on which the band sounded mature but no longer that catchy as known from the debut.
In 1999 the band split up.
Under the name "Chelsea" the original members Michael Scheuber and Udo Selber had a single hit in Germany called "Jennifer Adams" in 2000.
BTW: "Creme 21" is the name of a not-so-famous skin cream from the seventies. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
