DZIDZIO
DZIDZIO is a pop-band created in 2009, in Novoyavorivsk, a city in Yavoriv Raion, Lviv Oblast (region) of Ukraine. The band was originated by two members, Dzidzio and Lesyk, with support by their fellow musician – Kuzma Skryabin. Therefore it’s no wonder that Dzidzio calls Kuzma his "first teacher". Dzidzio is a distinctive artist who came from regular folk so his manner of speaking and singing is very easy to understand for regular people. Thanks to his widely known monologues about his dear friend and colleague – the pig Meison, Dzidzio became very popular on the web. Since then, Meison became the bands idea generator and made a major contribution to the creation of the DZIDZIO bands exclusive logo – his pink snout. Soon after the release of Kuzma’s song "Stari fotografii" performed by DZIDZIO in their unusual manner the project confidently entered Ukraine's media space.
Today DZIDZIO is an undisputed star of the web! The bands fan club in the Vkontakte social network is 120 000 members strong, and only during the summer months of 2012 the band’s music videos on their official YouTube channel had over 6 million views! National TV and radio stations are inviting the guys for interviews, links to some of which can be found below.
At the moment the band includes 3 cheerful musicians – Dzidzio, Lesyk and Julik who were able to take over Ukrainian show business with their unique art, since the band is performing in the genre of humorous, anti-glamorous pop. DZIDZIO have many concerts all over Ukraine and they drive to them on their black Cadillac, which, as they jokingly say, was given as a gift for a performance at a very picturesque collective farm.
On November 2012 the creative DZIDZIO and their team prepared and released an explosively-positive and brightpresentation of their debut CD album "HA-HA-HA".
