Daniel Indart
Daniel Indart is a music producer, songwriter and performer from South America. He is probably best known for composing music for HBO's The Sopranos and the music for the first three games in the Tropico series but he is a prolific songwriter and performer and his music has been featured in film, television, computer games and records.
Daniel Indart was born in Argentina and grew up with a passion for Latin Music. His mother, a world-renowned dancer and choreographer, performed Flamenco through her seventh month of pregnancy and introduced Daniel to musicians and dance professionals from all over the world. A promising young artist in his own right, RCA International signed Daniel to its stable of performers and two songs from his first album became number one hits on the South American charts.
Daniel’s academic excellence and musical talent earned him a full scholarship and a B.A., Magna Cum Laude, in film scoring from Berklee College of Music in Boston.
As a songwriter, Daniel has written more than 600 songs and commercial music pieces. As a performer, he has recorded three record albums, the lead voice in musical spots for numerous advertising campaigns. He has sung accompaniment for Placido Domingo, Ana Gabriel, Gloria Trevi, Pimpinela, Xuxa, “We Are The World” by Quincy Jones, Humberto Gatica, and many others.
His TV credits include the theme song on NBC’s hit “KingPin,” music for HBO’s The Sopranos, FX Channel's The Shield, CBS's CSI:N.Y., CSI:Miami, and CSI:Los Angeles, NBC Chuck, Showtime Dexter, CBS Medium, Showtime Weeds, USA Channel Burn Notice, FX Channel Nip Tuck, FOX Lie To Me, and HBO Big Love to name a few. In Films, his music has been featured in Dance with Me, Take The Lead, The Matador, Dirty Dancing, Swing Vote, Sunshine Cleaning, In The Valley of Elah, 10 Items or Less, Happy Endings, The Sentinel, Date Movie, The Hot Chick, Laws of Attraction, S.W.A.T., The Game of Their Lives, Spy Hard, Little Miss Sunshine, and many more..
