Deon Custom
Deon van Ooijen, also known as ''Deon Custom'' is a 21 year old electronic music producer/DJ from Dordrecht. Deon started with making sample-based hiphop beats when he was 16 years old, and got inspired by artists like Flying Lotus, J Dilla, and 9th wonder.
Some time passed and he started experimenting with other genres like dubstep, and released his EP entitled ''Mirrored Patterns'', on which especially the single named ''GTFO'' stood out on.
On May 17th 2013 Deon released his debut-album entitled ''Ametrine'' on Basserk Records, which is an instrumental collection of 10 tracks. On Ametrine Deon gathered his inspiration from various things such as video games, fairytales and surrealism. ''Ametrine'' is actually is a purple and yellow covered synthetic gem. Those colors represent the contrast and the playful, which returns in this synthesizer-based compilation of dreamy ambience to colorful drops. Read more on Last.fm.
