Divyendu
Divyendu Peter Jadinge
sings songs of love, devotion and surrender
to a mysterious entity, an unknown traveler found on all highways and byways of the world, and within the deepest recesses of ones heart.
The songs are interpretations in English and Swedish of P R Sarkars seminal work Prabhat Samgiit, more than five thousand songs of extraordinary beauty written mostly in Bengali between 1982 and 1990.
Most of the songs are intimate one-to-one expressions of longing, love and celebration, and they are universal rather than religious since they are not eulogizing any religious group, lineage or holy place.
Divyendu, who was born and raised in Sweden now lives on Portland in the south of England with Linda, Tom and three cats, where he is pursuing film music studies. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
