Dizzy X
Dizzy X's high octane takeoff uses no formulas at all. Instead they offer a blend of abilities, styles and enthusiasms uniquely adapted to themselves on their debut album 'Tales From the Iron Pillow'.
The result was an engaging, restless and emotionally charged debut full of attitude, soul and sweetness... from the "Prince on anabolic steroids" opening track of SupaSaturation to the heartfelt pleading and unstoppable beauty of Constantine's vocals on the enraptured Show Me... Dante and Liz seemed to do what is next to impossible these days... creating their own genre, which The Hollywood Reporter called "Cinematic Soultronica".
So the adventure continues with Dizzy X's sophomore release 'Machine'. 12 alluring and expansive new songs that play to the hearts and minds of all listening. Dizzy X pulls all inspirations into a cohesive explosivity throughout their 43 minute supersonic journey... "We are a musical GPS device for all lost and wandering souls... so follow us!"
With nods to current electro-pop groups such as TV On The Radio, Hot Chip and Santogold to classic artists like Peter Gabriel, Prince, Beck and Kate Bush, Dizzy X creates an atmosphere of pure originality that cannot be denied.
They have opened for such acts as The Chemical Brothers and Massive Attack.... The Dizzy X song “Stargazer” was also featured on a Lexus ad campaign that saturated TV. Three other tracks from Dizzy X’s debut (Hearts Like This, Wonderful and Show Me) are heard frequently on MTV’S The Real World, The Hills and Road Rules Challenge. Read more on Last.fm.
