Dutchmassive is the true definition of a fan. Since the late 80's and early 90's Dutch has dedicated 90% of his time to listening, creating and releasing classic hiphop.
Always rooted in music, he got his start in the 7th grade drum section of the school band. From 8th to 10th grades, he was an all-star drummer in the drumline, starting on the quads and became lead snare. One day before school started, the drumline met from practice and began to make beats, which lead to freestyling, which led to battling.
At the age of 15, Dutch was introduced to Celph Titled through a mutual friend, Moodswing 9 of the Live Poets. Dutch was already freestyling and writing with long time friend Majik Most. Dutch & Majik immediately joined forces with underground heavyweight Celph Titled, and formed a group called "Equilibrium". The three recorded a full length album, titled "Tropic States". The full length was never released, but a few 12" singles dropped, the 1st "Fahrenheit 813" b/w "Critial Conditions" (feat the Boogiemonsters) and "Windows 98". A year later Celph and Dutch dropped the 2nd 12" "Do That" b/w "Hold Something". "Do That" was also featured in the movie Kingston High.
Dutch recorded and released his solo album "Junk Planet" in 2004, which has been deemed by many as a certified classic. Since then Dutch has humbled himself and grown as a man and a musician. Just recently he released his "album between albums" - a mixtape called "Project: REACH" on Domination recordings. Besides that he has been working hard on his masterpiece "The NEXT Final Fantasy / Chapter II: Music 2 Sleep To" which features Sach of The Nonce, Median, Will Widdoss, The Jazz Addixx and many more and production from Illmind, M-phazes, Dela, Croup, 14KT of The Atheletic Mic League. It also includes himself on beats.
wow, So much has happened since the 2007 release of the Rawkus 50 release "CRUSH YOUR SYSTEM" I'll come back later to tell you about it..........
