El Coyote
El Coyote (prairie wolf or more common name used in Mexico for a human trafficker) is a native of Culiacan, Sinaloa (Mexico), José Angel Ledezma Quintero was born on November 1, 1970, with most of his childhood and adolescence, lived in the town of Coyote. Before turning to music, José Angel planned to become a professional baseball player, which led him constantly to Mazatlan, capital of the great bands Sinaloa, where little by little his friends called him El Coyote de Coyotitán, than simply just El Coyote.
In 1989, he made his professional debut with La Original Banda El Limón de Salvador Lizarraga, leaving aside for the moment, their sporting dreams. The music became his priority, to be part, at 19 years of age, the first generation of vocalists band. Imposing his own style and natural texture of vocals, EL COYOTE was also part of the Coastal Band of Ramón López Alvarado and Banda Los Recoditos, in total recorded four albums as a vocalist of these groups; for this then it was copied by other performers. In 1997, against all odds, marks her off as a soloist with the album AQUI ME QUEDARE, a title that sealed his fate in the music industry, as the name of Jose Angel Ledezma Quintero, El Coyote, is unforgettable.
El Coyote y su banda Tierra Santa, is composed of 16 members, all of Sinaloa, some old friends of Jose Angel, who also is director of the group, including the artistic direction of his voice. The band name was chosen by the members of the band. It turns out that several of them before he had been members of Santa Maria band. Santa Maria is the band which now accompanies another soloist. Musicians wanted the name of the new band contain the word "Santa" for that reason we decided that the band would be called "Tierra Santa" (Holy Land). Young musicians with an average age of 25 years, traveling in a group with their leader, headlining massive events and imposing impressive record of entries in the U.S. and Mexico.
