Epure
Epure is hailing the music scene from multi cultural city, Istanbul, Turkey. The sound of Epure reflects Swedish influences. On the other hand, the band's use of melodies, draws upon the classic death metal heritage of bands such as At The Gates, Dark Tranquillity, and In Flames. Also they use some American death metal such as New York Death Metal sounds, and Florida Death Metal sounds. The most conspicuous style of Epure is the melodies & harmonies, and their vivid chorus.
The roots of Epure were planted in 2004 when Kenan Cakir and Eser Apaydin were class mates at Yildiz Technical University. They began to play some covers of the common bands that they're interested in. The band was called as Cruor Ignis. After changing some band members, They found Onur Oral, Can Baybunar and Volkan Koca. The band began to work on their own composes with the new line-up. As they began to compose, they also perform in lots of gigs to gain some experience.
In the beginning of 2007, the band decided to change the band name, and from that date they’re called Epure.
As Epure's old band-name Cruor Ignis released the first EP which is called "For The Nameless One" at the end of September,2006. EP contains 5 tracks; The Nameless One (Part 1), Never Surrender, Mind Trip, The Nameless One (Part 2) and Mankind Torture.
