Fahrenheit 451
There is more than one artist with this name:
1 - The gothic rock band, Fahrenheit 451, formed in New Jersey in 1984 and were active until 1987. The original lineup included Athan Maroulis on vocals, who later went on to join Spahn Ranch and Executive Slacks, among others. In 1996, they reunited to record some covers for Cleopatra Records.
2 - The hardcore punk band, Fahrenheit 451, from New York City, recorded and toured during the mid to late 1990's. They released a career retrospective in 2006, along with a documentary of their career. Members of the band went on to play in a myriad of bands including District 9 and Dominican Day Parade.
3 - The Essex England-based Fahrenheit 451 plays political indie/punk rock. They have toured the South of England regularly and released two EPs to date: The New Empire in January 2005 and The Catastrophe EP in January 2006. The band cites groups such as Manic Street Preachers, Idlewild and Muse and writers such as George Orwell, Anthony Burgess and Aldous Huxley as influences upon their musical style and lyrical content.
4 - Rapcore band from Sevilla, Spain. They released only one demo album in 2000.
5 - The Ska band from Venezia, Italy.
6 - Fahrenheit 451 formed in Groningen, The Netherlands, in 1980 and lasted for about three years. In those three years, Fahrenheit 451 released an untitled four song flexidisc (1981) and they contributed to the Hatelijke Groeten EP (1982), which also featured songs from Dutch punk bands Vacuum, Jetset and Massagraf.
