Fly My Pretties
Fly My Pretties is a collaboration of musicians from Wellington, New Zealand that only record their albums live in various locations in New Zealand. The different musical backgrounds of the members makes for an eclectic mix of songs on their releases.
Founded in 2004, Fly My Pretties was the brainchild of Barnaby Weir (Vocals/Guitar), frontman of The Black Seeds who recruited fellow musicians Adi Dick (Guitar/Vocals), Age Pryor (Guitar/Vocals), Brendan Moran (Drums), Craig Terris) (Drums/Vocals, Daniel Weetman (Percussion/Vocals), Hollie Smith (Guitar, Keyboards/Vocals), Jarney Murphy (Drums), Lee Prebble (Lap Steel), Luke Buda (Guitar/Vocals), Mailee Mathews (Bass), Mike Fabulous (Bass), Module (Piano/Keys/Organ), Nato (Bass), Ryan Prebble (Guitar/Vocals), Sam Flynn Scott (Vocals)and Tessa Rain (Guitar/Vocals).
In 2007, the band won the NZ Music Award for Best Aotearoa Roots Album for their album 'The Return of Fly My Pretties.' They were also nominated for KIWI FM Best Group. Recently finished their 3rd Nationwide tour of NZ
