Frank Molder
For many years Frank Molder is active in the area of electronic music.
Nevertheless, his musical roots date back much further. Already at
the age of 7 years he learnt the piano plays. After several years of
classical education at the Zwickauer music school he started to be
interested increasingly in electronic music.
With a Roland E15 he had in 1995 the first - even if at first hesitant -
step in this direction done. From now on it led the way quickly. There
followed the first PC, the first PC – produced tracks and also the
first experiences as a DJ. In 1999 he published his first completely
independently produced album "Synthetica". Short time later he became
a member of Convulse Booking, among other things the fathers of
the yearly taking NACHTDIGITAL close to Leipzig.
Between 1999 and 2001 he entered many stages - but primary as a DJ.
However, he did not sleep in this time and founded the yearly taking
Techno Camp Open Air with his long-standing friend Marco Kotyk close
to Zwickau.
Smaller studio projects followed the entrance to Steffen Bennemanns
net label 1bit-wonder where he realised till this day three albums,
remixes and other projects, in the end of 2004. The newest CD - project
"Lounge Burlesque" (THORN1007) began in 2007 in collaboration with
Timo Benz from Stuttgart. For 2008 he works at the moment on his
new album URBAN BEATS. Single demo tracks of it shall be heard here
in irregular distances...
