Freeze Etch
Seattle-based electronic producer Freeze Etch (Adam Duckworth) has been releasing music since 2002. The FE sound has been described as being "equal parts ambient, drone, minimalist, IDM and bits of industrial all together," incorporating rich melodic influence and brooding elemental qualities amidst driving industrial rhythms and textures.
His label debut came with 2003's Helios EP, appearing on Dave Dando-Moore's (Detritus) now-defunct Immanence Records.
Freeze Etch re-emerged in 2007 with the release of the Pejorative EP (which included a collaboration with notorious cyberpunk Kenji Siratori), and his first proper full length album, Vessels, followed in 2008 on the Force of Nature Productions label.
Adam works closely with graphic artist/illustrator/web designer, Eric Carl (his cousin).
