Glup!
Glup! was a chilean brit-rock-pop band founded in Santiago, Chile in 1996 by Koko and Marcel Molina, with Rodrigo and Grapevine Stambuk joining soon after the band was brought to them. In 1997, Gustavo Chavín Labrín also joined. Though in 1996 the band recorded their first demo, it wouldn't be until 1999 when they get into studio recording. They quickly began to get known, especially after their presentation in the International Festival of Viña del Mar Contest. In 2000, while the band was recording their second album, guitarist Tom Picetti joined the band. Picetti and Gustavo Chavín left the band after the "Así es la Vida Tour 2001-2002". Rodrigo Vizcarra came in Tom's replacement. In 2003 the band split up. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
