Gor
GOR is a medieval folk project from Pozzuoli, Italy, founded in 1992 by Fransesco Banchini. His music is defined as atmospheric and gothic with considerable eastern influences.
The first GOR album, titled “Bellum Gnosticorum", was released in 2000. It was followed by "Ialdabaoth" in 2001, "Phlegraei" in 2002, "Qumran" in 2003, and "Croisades" in 2004. All of these releases have been published by the French label Prikosnovénie.
GOR also took part in various collaborations: the album "Soleil" with the Japanese group Jack or Jive; and the “Love Sessions” Volumes 1 & 2, which include the groups Lys (France), Daemonia Nymphe (Greece), and Louisa John-Krol (Australia).
