Happydeadmen
Happydeadmen was formed in 1988, when the Swedish indie scene was mostly punk or goth rock. Their melodic pop approach looked ahead to 90s Swedish indiepop, which brought bands like the Cardigans.

Readers of the pop magazine Sound Effects voted the single Silent Sigh City the second best Swedish single of 1989.
The album Eleven Pop Songs was released in 1990, and older fans consider the album "the one and only." Game, Set, Match is the 1993 follow-up album. The third album was released in Japan as Bullfights Every Sunday in 1997. It was released in Europe and America as After The Siesta in 1998. A compilation album was released in January 1999.
