Herva Doce
Herva Doce was a Brazilian pop rock band from Rio de Janeiro formed in 1982 by Marcelo Sussekind e Renato Ladeira. The band's big breakthrough came in 1983 when it opened for Kiss in Maracanã for over 140,000 Kiss fans. They scored hits such as "Erva Venenosa" (a cover of "Poison Ivy" by The Coasters) and Amante Profissional (1985), the latter going on to become a huge national hit. The band broke up in 1987.
